The Railway Museum in Mysore, India, is a historic locomotive outdoor exhibit. Indian Railways founded the Railway Museum in 1979, the second such museum after the National Railway Museum in Delhi. The museum is located on Krishnaraja Sagar Road, directly across from the Central Food Technology and Research Institute. It has locomotives as well as a gallery of images and artworks documenting the development of railways in India. There are also railway signals and lights depicted. On the grounds of the museum, a battery-powered mini-train provides a short ride for children.
